HIDRO SST is a high performance, water based impregnator for the protection of polished or rough marble, granite and natural stone or materials that normally require a solvent based application. Its specific ecological formulation allows the product to be applied to all six sides, so to guarantee a durable surface protection from water, dirt and oil/grease based substances. Application by immersion is recommended when treating problematic floor materials that require a high performance protection from possible rising humidity and salts, which on a long term will damage unprotected stone surfaces. Compatible on humid or damp surfaces, therefore saving time during application process

Impregnation is the first important step to protect the natural stone against water absorption, stains, discoloration.

This photo is an example which show the importance of impregnation. The left part of the stone has not been impregnated. Right after putting some water and tea on the surface, the liquid was immediately absorbed into the stone surface. Meanwhile, the right part of the stone has been well impregnated with Hidro SST, water and tea cannot penetrate into the stone. They both form drops on the stone surface.

How to use Hidro SST:

Product ready to use. Apply product in an uniform manner to clean the surface.

Apply uniformly by brush or spray. After 5-10 minutes, remove any excess residues by clean cloth or buffer and allow surface to dry for 6 hours. Resume normal use of treated surface after surface is completely dry.

Industrial inline applications: Apply product within the production line by immersion or by spray. On compact non porous materials, application can be carried out by roller or by sponge.

Pre treatment: before fixing or setting the material, apply product by spray, brush or immersion. Remove product excess by cloth and allow surface to dry. After 24 hrs proceed to fix treated material.
